- ANS Student & beef barn resident, Jackie Cima, successfully shows ANS heifers at the Amador County Fair earning grand champion & reserve grand champion honors
- Dana Van Liew & Jan Carlson assisted with training UCCE Elkus Ranch staff on sheep & goats
- Juan Medrano participated in an Agricultural Research Connections Workshop sponsored by the Gates Foundation, Biosciences east and central Africa (BecA)-ILRI Hub, in Naivasha, Kenya—the goal of the workshop was to further agricultural research programs & institutions in sub-Saharan Africa with others.
- Sheep Unit hosted an ultrasound workshop for state 4-H leadership conference participants
