OUTREACH AND TRAVEL
- David Bunn Keynote Speaker at the One Health International Conference at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka “Applying a One Health Approach to Improving Livestock and Chicken Production in Rural Communities” & discussing the design of a summer abroad course for UCD and Sri Lanka students on One Health in Rural Communities
- The Iwate Agricultural Junior College from Iwate, Japan visited the Dairy, Swine Center, Feedlot, Horse Barn & Meat Lab. Clayton Neumeier gave a talk on biotechnology & animal agriculture. This was the 26th year that this group visited the department—photo below
- Juan Medrano & Russ Hovey presented in the Lactation Symposium, Alison Van Eenennaam presented a poster & represented the U.S. as a member of the Permanent International Committee at the Tenth World Congress of Genetics Applied to Livestock Production in Vancouver, Canada
