Animal Science Facilities Directions

ASTF 500/600: Animal Science Teaching Facility ASTF is located on the same property as the Dairy Barn. The Dairy is located on Dairy Road ® near the water tower and Tercero Residence Halls (Turn on to Dairy Road from Hutchison Drive, since Dairy Road is a one-way street going south). ASTF 500 is located at the front of the property beneath the water tower; ASTF 600 is located towards the rear of the property, directly west and behind ASTF 500. Poultry Headquarters: AKA, Hopkins Avian Facility, or Avian Sciences Research Facility. Head west across Highway 113 on Hutchison Drive and turn left on Hopkins Drive. About ¾ of the way down Hopkins Drive you will see the Hopkins Avian Headquarters on the right side of the road (across from the airport). Goat Barn: Take Old Davis Road headed south, follow it under Interstate 80, and across the railroad tracks. Continue on Old Davis Road and just before crossing the bridge, turn left on to a gravel road. Follow the gravel road, and at the first available left turn, head down towards the Raptor Center. The Goat Barn is located on the right, just past the Raptor Center. Sheep & Beef Barns: Head west across Highway 113 on Hutchison Drive. Turn at left onto Campbell Drive (the first available left), turn at next right on to Garrod Drive, then turn left across levee. The Sheep barn is straight ahead, just on the south side of the levee. To get to the Beef Barn, turn left after crossing the levee and continue down Brooks Road. Feedmill/Feedlot/Swine Barn: Head west across Highway 113 on Hutchison Drive, turn left on Hopkins Drive, then turn left on to Straloch Road (it is the second left on Hopkins Drive). Feedlot is on the right, and Swine Barn is on the left. ~ maps are available at ASAC ~
